తెనుఁగు సేత

శ్రీమాన్ చిలుకమఱ్ఱి రామానుజాచార్యులు

THY gifts to us mortals fulfil all our
needs and yet run back to thee un-
diminished.

The river has its everyday work to
do and hastens through fields and
hamlets ; yet its incessant stream winds
towards the washing of thy feet.

The flower sweetens the air with its
perfume ; yet its last service is to offer
itself to thee.

Thy worship does not impoverish the
world.

From the words of the poet men take
what meanings please them ; yet their
last meaning points to thee. 

చిలుకమఱ్ఱి రామానుజాచార్యుల అనువాదము....

ఈవు మర్త్యులమైన మా కిచ్చు కాన్క
లెల్ల మా యక్కరల్ దీర్చి, చెల్లిపోక,
మఱల నీజాడ లరయుచుఁ బరుగులెత్తు ||

దినదినము ప్రవహిల్లు నదీమతల్లి
పొలములకుఁ దడిజొన్పు, పల్లెలను దన్పు,
కాని యద్దాని యవిరత మైన ధార
కదలివచ్చు నీయడుగులు కడుగుకొఱకు
*తాను దన్నె జలాంజలిగా నొసంగు ||

పూవు లవి తమ కమ్మని తావితోన
యఖిల జగతిని గమగమలాడఁ జేయు,
కాని యవ్వాని చరమలక్ష్యమ్ము నీదు
పూజకై యర్పితంబయి పోవుటోయి!
*(జగతి, గికురించి నీదు పూజనము లేదు,)
నీదు సేవన లోకము పేదవడదు ||

తలఁప నెల్లరు సుకవిగీతమ్ములందుఁ
దమ మనోభీష్ట భావ చిహ్నములు గాంత్రు,
కాని యవ్వాని చరమ లక్ష్యమ్ము మాత్ర
మొక్క నీదగు సంగీత మొసఁగు నోయి! ||
